SD Card - Car Computer (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the RH front door and fully lower the RH front window.
- Move the RH front seat fully rearward.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the RH footwell assembly. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (LHD) (Remove and Replace).

Use a trim tool to slide the SD card retaining tab over, and then use plastic tweezers to remove the SD card from the computer.
CAUTIONMake sure not to remove the SIM card, located to the left of the SD card in this illustration.

Destroy the SD card by
cutting the card in half through the center, and then cut each piece into
half, resulting in 4 pieces.
CAUTIONIt is mandatory to destroy the SD card to protect user data.
Install

Position the SD card into
the install guide.
NoteEnsure the install guide slide is in the down position. Slide the SD card into the top of the tool from left to right until fully seated. The SD card contacts should be facing rearward during installation.

Install the SD card into the vehicle.
NoteSlide the guide locking tab upward until there is an audible click.
- Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH footwell assembly. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
- Move the RH front seat to its original position.
