Bracket - Fascia Center To Fender - LH (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

5.9 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
  • Torx T30 socket
 Reuse
Bolt that attaches the LH front fascia center bracket to the vehicle
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
  • Torx T25 socket
 Replace with black bolt (1551442-00-A)

Remove

  1. Remove the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the LH front fascia center bracket to the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  3. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH headlight to the fender, and then lower the front headlight.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 2 in extension
  4. Maneuver the LH front fascia center bracket rearward to remove it from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the LH front fascia center bracket.
  2. Position the headlamp, and then install the bolt that attaches the headlamp to the fender.
    5.9 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  3. Install a new bolt that attaches the LH front fascia center bracket to the vehicle.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
    Note
    Install a new black bolt (1551442-00-A).
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
  4. Install the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
