Switch - Window - Front Passenger (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Bolt that attaches the middle bolt cover to the RH front door trim panel
6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
  • Torx T30 socket
  • 4 in extension
  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the RH front door and fully lower the RH front window.
  2. Remove the bolt that attaches the front lower bolt cover to the RH front door trim panel, and then remove the cover.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
    • 4 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  3. Release the clips that attach the middle bolt cover to the RH front door trim panel, and then remove the cover from the door trim panel.

  4. Release the tabs that attach the front passenger window switch to the RH front door trim panel.

    CAUTION
    Replace door trim if any tabs are broken during removal.
  5. Release the window switch electrical harness from the harness clip, and then disconnect the electrical connector.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
