Correction code 17102802 0.90 NOTE: Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the procedure, the above correction code and FRT reflect all of the work required to perform this procedure, including the linked procedures. 1. Remove the rear LH door glass. See Glass - Door - LH - Rear (Remove and Replace).
2. Disconnect 12V/LV power. See12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
3. Disconnect rear window motor connector
   Note

   1x connector, Disengage locking tab, then release connector body

   

4. Remove the manual latch release cable from window regulator panel
   Note

   1x clip

   

5. Disconnect harness from LH rear pressure sensor
   Note

   1x connector, Pull back on locking tab, then release connector body

   

6. Release clips securing door harness to closeout panel
   Note

   3x clips

   

7. Remove bolts securing the window regulator to door assembly
   Note

   11x bolts, 8mm, 4 Nm

   

8. Remove plugs covering regulator rail fasteners
   Note

   2x plugs

   

9. Remove closeout panel assembly from door
   Note

   2x bolts, 10mm, 8 Nm, Remove bolts, then slide closeout panel assembly down and out, Window regulator and closeout panel come out as one piece

   

   

10. Disconnect LH rear outer door handle connector
    Note

    1x connector, Pull to disengage locking tab, Pull again to release connector body

    

11. Release upper clip securing LH rear door harness
    Note

    1x clip

    

12. Disconnect the LH front door latch
    Note

    1x connector, Disengage locking tab, then release connector

    

13. Release clips securing LH rear door harness along door side
    Note

    3x clips

    

    

14. Release harness clips along bottom of LH rear door
    Note

    3x clips

    

    

15. Open LH front door

    

16. Remove LH mid A-pillar assembly
    Note

    1x clip, 1x tab, Release the upper clip then pull mid A-pillar upward to remove

    

17. Remove clip securing LH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x push clip

    

18. Remove LH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    6x clips, 2 guide tabs, Pull rear of lower A-pillar upward to release clip then pull rearward to release trim panel

    

19. Release LH front seat harness and guide from body
    Note

    3x clips, 1 datum, Datum goes through access hole on LH lower B-pillar

    

    

20. Move LH front seat forward

    

21. Release LH upper B-pillar assembly and move aside
    Note

    4x clips, Pull the bottom of the upper B-pillar toward inside of the vehicle then pull the top to release the remaining clips

    

22. Release 2nd row seat cushion
    Note

    Lift front edge of seat cushion upward to release foam from frame, Pull towards front of vehicle then tilt bench against 40/60 back

    

23. Partially remove LH rear door seal

    

24. Remove LH rear sill trim
    Note

    5x clips, Rear edge is mated with groove in trunk side trim, Release clips at the front of LH rear sill trim working your way back towards rear of sill trim

    

    

25. Remove clip securing LH lower B-pillar to body
    Note

    1x push clip, Clip secures lower B-pillar and rear cabin carpet to body

    

26. Remove the LH lower B-pillar assembly
    Note

    6x clips, Pull the top of B-pillar to release top clips then work your way to bottom clips

    

27. Release grommet connector then remove LH rear door harness from the B-pillar area
    Note

    1x connector, 2x clips, 1x grommet, Pry at both the top and then the bottom of rear door harness grommet while pulling away from B-pillar to release door harness

    

    

    

    

28. Remove rubber grommet from LH rear door assembly
    Note

    1x grommet, Pull grommet through LH rear door assembly from within door

    

    

29. Remove LH rear door harness from door assembly

    

30. Position LH rear door harness into door assembly

    

31. Install rubber grommet to LH rear door assembly
    Note

    1x grommet

    

    

32. Install LH rear door harness to B-pillar
    Note

    1x connector, 2x clips, 1x grommet, Press LH rear door harness connector to body harness connector, Hold body harness connector in place till audible click is heard, Gently pull body harness connector to ensure its secure, Ensure door harness grommet is seated to B-pillar

    

    

    

    

33. Install the LH lower B-pillar assembly
    Note

    6x clips, Align the bottom guide tab to its slot then press the bottom clips, Work your way to top clips

    

34. Install clip securing LH lower B-pillar to body
    Note

    1x push clip, Clip secures lower B-pillar and rear cabin carpet to body

    

35. Install LH rear sill trim
    Note

    5x clips, Rear edge is mated with groove in trunk side trim, Install rear edge of LH rear sill trim into trunk side trim and work your way forward securing clips

    

    

36. Reseat LH rear door seal
    Note

    Seat pillar and sill trim tabs underneath seal

    

37. Reposition 2nd row seat cushion
    Note

    Slide cushion rearward then align with buckles and foam with seat rail, Make sure cushion is fully seated with push & pull test

    

38. Install the LH upper B-pillar assembly
    Note

    4x clips, Lower the seat belt slider to align it with the B-pillar panel, Insert top portion of upper B-pillar under the headliner to align the clips, Press the bottom to fully seat upper B-pillar to lower B-pillar, Make sure the seal correctly overlaps the trim

    

    

    

39. Move LH front seat to original position
40. Secure LH front seat harness and guide to body
    Note

    3x clips, 1x datum, Datum goes through access hole on LH lower B-pillar

    

    

41. Install LH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    6x clips, 2 locating pins, Align front locating pin first

    

42. Install clip securing LH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x push clip

    

43. Reseat LH front door seal along lower A-pillar trim

    

44. Install LH mid A-pillar assembly
    Note

    1x clip, 1x tab, Align the bottom tab then push the top clip to fully seat mid A-pillar, Pull seal over trim

    

45. Close LH front door
46. Install harness clips along LH rear door assembly
    Note

    3x clips

    

    

47. Install harness clips along LH rear door side
    Note

    3x clips

    

    

48. Connect the LH rear door latch
    Note

    1x connector, Fully seat connector, then engage locking tab

    

49. Install upper clip securing LH rear door harness
    Note

    1x clip

    

50. Connect harness to door handle assembly
    Note

    1x connector, Fully seat connector, then engage locking tab

    

51. Install closeout panel assembly
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 8 Nm, Slide window regulator rail up against inside of door and seat closeout panel outside, Install and torque bolts that secure window regulator rails

    

    

52. Install regulator rail bolt plugs
    Note

    2x plugs

    

53. Install bolts securing the window regulator panel to door assembly
    Note

    11x bolts, 8mm, 4 Nm, Hand start bolts to avoid stripping out the threads

    

54. Install clips securing door harness to closeout panel
    Note

    3x clips

    

55. Connect door harness to LH rear pressure sensor
    Note

    1x connector, Fully seat connector, then engage locking tab

    

56. Install the manual latch release cable to window regulator panel
    Note

    1x clip

    

57. Connect rear window motor harness connector
    Note

    1x connector, Fully seat connector, then engage locking tab

    

58. Install window glass to LH rear door
    Note

    It is suggested to ask another colleague to help

    

59. Connect 12V power. See12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
60. Secure window glass to guide block clamps hand tight
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm, Make sure guide blocks are not bottomed out on the regulator, this will allow for adjustment if needed

    

    

61. Lower window fully

    

62. Install inner belt seal onto LH rear door
    Note

    6x clips, Push down to secure

    

    

    

    

63. Release LH rear door latch by pulling emergency release cable

    

    

64. Close LH rear door
65. Open LH front door
66. Fully raise LH rear window
67. Check gap and flushness
    Note

    Refer to CVIS for current spec, Stop procedure and re-adjust if necessary

    

68. Open LH rear door
69. Close LH rear door latch to allow window height adjustment

70. Adjust glass for access to regulator guide blocks

    

    

71. Loosen bolts securing window glass to regulator guide blocks about half a turn to maintain position but still allow adjustment
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm

    

    

72. Adjust the front of moving glass to achieve flush target to B-Pillar applique
    Note

    1x bolt, Use a 5mm hex socket to adjust the friction pad to tilt the glass inboard or outboard, Turn clockwise to achieve outboard adjustments and turn counter clockwise to achieve inboard adjustments

    

    

    

73. Adjust the rear of moving glass to achieve flush target to quarter glass assembly
    Note

    1x bolt, Use a 5mm hex socket to adjust the friction pad to tilt the glass inboard or outboard, Turn clockwise to achieve outboard adjustments and turn counter clockwise to achieve inboard adjustments

    

    

    

74. Adjust moving glass to achieve gap target and hand tighten bolts
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm

    

    

75. Release LH rear door latch by pulling emergency release cable

    

    

76. Close LH rear door
77. Check gap and flushness
    Note

    Readjust if necessary

    

    

    

78. Open LH rear door
79. Close LH rear door latch to allow window height adjustment
    Note

    Do not close door with window fully raised, as upper bright trim will be damaged

    

80. Adjust glass for access to regulator guide blocks

    

    

81. Torque bolts securing window glass to regulator guide blocks
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm

    

    

82. Release LH rear door latch by pulling emergency release cable

    

    

83. Lower LH rear window

    

84. Disconnect window switch special tool
    Note

    1x connector

    

    

85. Install circle button plugs covering openings in door for regulator guide blocks
    Note

    2x plugs

    

86. Disconnect underside white task light from LH rear door
    Note

    1x connector

    

87. Install underside white task light to rear door panel
    Note

    1x connector, Make sure the white task light C notch is pointing toward front edge of door trim

    

    

88. Install LH rear door panel assembly
    Note

    10x clips, 3x fir tree clips, 4x connectors, Secure harness clip first to make sure speaker connector and underside white task light connector are not swapped, then make harness connections, Slide top portion of panel into door seal first, then swing bottom into place, Ensure all clips are seated

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

    

89. Install fasteners securing door panel to rear door
    Note

    2x bolts, T30, 6 Nm, Do not use M3 door fasteners which are shorter in length

    

    

    

90. Raise LH rear window

    

91. Close LH rear door
92. Calibrate the LH rear window. See Window Regulator (Recalibrate).
