Informational PurposesAn informational icon, calling your attention
    Note
Make sure the vehicle is not in "Drive". Putting the vehicle into "Drive" will stop this routine. Wait until the coolant pumps stop running (audible noise). "Routine Passed" will appear, but the pumps will run for approximately 10 minutes. If another routine is initiated during this time, it will fail. The routine is still running despite the completed message. Speeds can be monitored in garage under PT Thermal tab. Idle speed = ~1,500 RPM. The test will vary speeds from 3,500-6,500 RPM and actuate valves between SERIES and PARALLEL. If speeds hover at 7,000 RPM, this indicates the pumps are air locked. If the pumps are air locked, perform a coolant system vacuum fill (see Cooling System (Vacuum Refill)), and then continue to add coolant and purge until the coolant level reaches between the NOM and MAX lines on the bottle.
  20. Inspect the coolant level and top off as necessary.
Important: Ensure G-48 coolant is used.
  21. Install the coolant bottle cap.
  22. Perform the "Thermal Performance" routine through the touchscreen: Click "thermal icon" > Actions, then click Test Thermal Performance, and then Run. Close the window once the routine passes.
  23. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  24. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  25. Close the hood.
