Check Base - Magnetic - Sun Visor - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all doors and fully lower all windows.
  2. Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH upper A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH sun visor. See Sun Visor - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the lower quad cam cover. See Quad Camera Cover - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace).
  8. Repeat step 2 through step 5 for the RH side of the vehicle.
  9. Release the clips (x5) that attach the front edge of the front headliner.
  10. Release the sun visor from the check base.
  11. Release the clips that attach the sun visor check to the front headliner, and then remove the sun visor check from the vehicle.

    Press the clips inward while pulling down on the sun visor check to release it.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
