Remove
- Lower the rear headliner. See Headliner - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Release the tabs that attach the coat hook to the headliner, and then gently pry the coat hook from the headliner.
- Release the electrical harness from the rear portion of the headliner, and then disconnect the electrical harness from the LH rear map light connector.

Remove the screw that
attaches the LH coat hook tether to the roof clip.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Wiha TorqueVario-S 0.8 Nm - 2.0 Nm screwdriver (installation only)
- Wiha ¼ in bit holder adapter

Remove the screws that attach the LH coat hook assembly to the rear
headliner, and then remove the assembly from the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Remove the LH coat hook roof clip from the body.
Install
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
