Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and fully lower the window.
  2. Remove the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the center bolt that attaches the center cowl screen bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.

    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Install

  1. Position the cowl screen center bracket into the vehicle, and then install the bolt that attaches the bracket to the vehicle.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Note

    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  2. Install the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace).
  3. Raise the LH front window.
  4. Verify operation of the windshield washer and wipers.

    Note
    Spray windshield washer fluid onto the windshield. Perform two additional wipes, and then a third wipe a few seconds later.
  5. Close the LH front door.
