Replace 1109263-00-B or newer

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolt and nut that attach the LH front lower compliance link to the front subframe.
    115 Nm (84.8 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 21 mm socket
  5. Remove and discard the nut that attaches the LH front lower compliance link to the knuckle, and then remove the link from the vehicle.
    180 Nm (132.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Counter hold the stud with a T45 socket.

    • 22 mm socket
    • Torx T45 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH front lower compliance link to the front subframe, and then install the bolt and nut that attach the link to the subframe.
    115 Nm (84.8 lbs-ft)

    • 21 mm socket
  2. Install a new nut that attaches the LH front lower compliance link to the knuckle.
    180 Nm (132.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Counter hold the stud with a T45 socket.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 22 mm socket
    • Torx T45 socket
  3. Install the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
  6. Refer to the Alignment Requirement tables to determine whether an EPAS alignment check (EC) or four wheel alignment check (AC) is necessary. If performed, add the alignment check/adjust as a separate activity. See Alignment Requirement - Suspension.
