Remove
- Remove the 2nd row LH seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).

Remove the front push clip from the
2nd row LH cushion assembly outer side shield.
NoteUse a pick to remove the push clip from the bottom side of the outboard cover.

Remove the 2nd row LH cushion assembly
outer side shield and disconnect the connector.
NotePull outwards and up at the front portion of the trim.

Remove the 2nd row LH seatback
assembly toe kick panel (7x clips).
NotePry up on the LH side of the toe kick cover to release the clips. Repeat on the RH side to fully remove.

Release the clips (x3) and remove the
inboard outer trim from the 2nd row LH seat cushion assembly.
NoteRemove the inboard outer trim towards the rear of the vehicle.

Remove the 2nd row LH seatback panel
(9x clips, 2x hooks).
NoteRelease clips starting at the top of the back panel working your way down the lower back panel. Pull the back panel towards the front of the vehicle to remove.

Remove the 2nd row center seat switch
(2x clips) and disconenct the connector.
NoteUse the plastic trim tool to pry the top of the switch away from the center back panel to ease removal.

Remove the center back panel from the
2nd row center seatback (5x clips, 2 hooks).
NoteLift up at the lower 20 back panel and then slide forward to release.
-
Release the 2nd row LH seat harness
connectors (x7) and clip from the seat frame.
-
Disconnect the seat cables from easy
entry actuators on the 2nd row LH seat (4x clips).
-
Remove the cable from the 2nd row LH
fold actuator (1x clip).
-
Remove the push clips (x2) from the
front of the 2nd row LH bottom seat pan.
-
Remove the center seatback lumbar bun
screw.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
-
Remove the center seatback lumbar bun
(2x clips).
NotePull the bolster outwards to release.
-
Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the
center seatback pivot clamps.
NoteOnce the bolts are removed, slide the pivot clamp towards the center of the center seatback and pull each outwards to remove.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T40 socket

Remove the center seatback by lifting
upward.
-
Manually release the center seatback
latch.
NoteUse a small screwdriver to manipulate the center seatback latch to release.

Remove the fasteners (x4) and the clip
that attach the 2nd row LH seat pan to the seat frame.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm 12-point deep socket
- Torx T25 socket
- Remove the headrest guides from the 2nd row LH seatback assembly. See Adjustment Guide - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).

Remove the 2nd row LH seatback
assembly (4x clips).
NoteRelease the clips and lift the seatback upwards. The seat belt will be removed in a later step.

Remove the 2nd row LH seat cushion
assembly.
NoteRemove the seat bottom by lifting the rear first and removing it towards the front of the seat.

Remove and discard the bolt that
secures the 2nd row center seat belt anchor.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket
-
Remove the 2nd row center seat belt
guide (2x clips, 2x datums).
-
Remove the 2nd row center seat belt
from the seatback assembly.
NotePass the seat belt through the opening.
-
Place the 2nd row LH seatback assembly
on a suitable working surface.
NoteAvoid damage to the seat cover.
-
Remove the easy-entry switch (2x
clips, 1x connector).
-
Disconnect the seat heating
connector.
-
Release the 2nd row LH seatback cover
(16x tabs).
NotePull the material downward to release.
-
Remove the backrest shell from the 2nd
row LH seatback cover.
NoteEarly production models may have staples holding material to shell in some areas.
-
Remove the seatback cover from the
foam (3x hog rings).
NoteFor NA only: The seat cover without ISOFIX flag for child locks must be replaced.NoteHook and loop attachment around perimeter. Cut the hog rings and clean debris.
Install
-
Install the seatback cover to foam (3x
hog rings).
NoteSmall tie wraps may be used as a substitute. If used trim flush and rotate tie wrap head away from visible surface, hook and loop around perimeter.

Install the 2nd row LH seatback cover
to the backrest shell (16x hooks).
NotePull the material downward to attach. Ensure the material is distributed correctly on the visible face.

Connect the heating pad
connector.
-
Install the easy-entry switch (2x
tabs, 1x connector).
-
Install the 2nd row center seat belt
to the seatback assembly.
NotePass the seat belt through the opening.
-
Install the 2nd row center seat belt
guide (2x clips, 2x datums).
-
Install the bolt that secures the 2nd
row center seat belt anchor.
40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T50 socket

Place the 2nd row LH seat pan onto the
seat frame.
NoteReinstall the seat bottom onto the seat frame by starting at the rear of the seat.

Secure the fasteners (x4) and the clip
that attach the seat bottom to the seat frame.
6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)NoteThe 10 mm fasteners (x3) should be torqued to 6 Nm. The T25 fastener should be torqued to 1.5 Nm.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm 12-point deep socket
- Torx T25 socket

Install the 2nd row LH seatback into
place (4x clips).
NoteSlide the seat back into place making sure the bottom retainers slide into place. Reinstall the push clips to secure the seat back.
- Install the headrest guides from the 2nd row LH seatback assembly. See Adjustment Guide - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).

Insert the center seatback pivot
clamps at the center of the center frame, and then slide outwards to install the bolts
(x2).
22 Nm (16.2 lbs-ft)NoteWhen replacing the pivot clamps, they must be replaced in pairs.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T40 socket

Install the center seatback lumbar bun
(2x clips).
NotePress the seatback lumbar bun into the center frame.

Install the center seatback lumbar bun
screw.
1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 socket

Plug in the connector and install the
trim to the 2nd row LH seat by hooking the front into place and seating the clip at rear
of the trim.
-
Install the push clip at the front of
the outer 2nd row LH side shield assembly.
NoteInstall the push clip at the front bottom side of the trim.
-
Install the inboard outer trim to the
2nd row LH seat (3x clips).
-
Insert the back panel hooks (x2) into
the center seat back assembly.
NoteEngage the hooks and slide rearward into position. Early production have 4 hooks.

Install the center back panel onto the
seat back (5x clips).
-
Install the 2nd row center seat switch
(1x connector, 2x clips).
-
Install the 2nd row LH toe kick cover
(7x clips).
-
Install the LH seatback onto the 2nd
row LH seat assembly (9x clips, 4x hooks).
NoteAttach the hooks onto the frame rail. Work upwards and fasten all the clips.
