Gap Hider - Steering Column - Upper (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the steering wheel. See Steering Wheel (Remove and Install).
  2. Pull the steering column upper shroud upward to release the clips that attach it to the steering column lower shroud.
  3. Remove the clips that attach the steering column upper gap hider to the steering column.
  4. Remove the steering column upper shroud from the instrument panel.
  5. Release the clips that attach the steering column upper gap hider to the steering column shroud.

Install

  1. Position the steering column upper gap hider onto the steering column shroud, and then fasten the clips.
  2. Position the steering column upper shroud onto the instrument panel.
  3. Install the clips that attach the steering column upper gap hider to the steering column.
  4. Press the steering column upper shroud downward to fasten the clips that attach it to the steering column lower shroud.
  5. Install the steering wheel. See Steering Wheel (Remove and Install).
