Remove

Warning
Whenever a camera has been moved out of its original position (for example, a camera or windshield replacement), camera calibration data must be cleared using the vehicle touchscreen: Controls > Service > Camera Calibration > Clear Calibration.
  1. Remove the LH front side repeater light assembly. See Light - Side Repeater - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the camera to the LH front side repeater light assembly, and then remove the camera.
    Note
    Wiggle the camera to remove it from the assembly.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Mini Ratchet Bit Set (1450424-00-A)
    • Ratchet/torque wrench

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the camera to the LH front side repeater light assembly.
    0.6 Nm (5 lbs-in)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Mini Ratchet Bit Set (1450424-00-A)
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  2. Install the LH front side repeater light assembly. See Light - Side Repeater - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
    CAUTION
    This procedure includes information on camera calibration. Make sure to follow the steps provided.
