Closeout Panel - Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the rear LH door glass. See Glass - Door - LH - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the LH rear window regulator motor connector.
  3. Remove the manual latch release cable from the window regulator panel.
  4. Disconnect the pressure sensor electrical connector, and then rotate the sensor counterclockwise to remove it from the closeout panel.
  5. Release the clips that attach the door harness to the closeout panel.
  6. Remove the bolts that attach the window regulator assembly to the door.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
    • 2 in extension
  7. Remove the plugs that cover the regulator rail fasteners.
  8. Remove the bolts that attach the closeout panel assembly to the door, and then slide the assembly down and out to remove it from the door.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • 6 in extension
  9. Remove the screws that attach the LH rear window motor to the closeout panel, and then remove the motor from the panel.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • 2 in extension
  10. Remove the screws that attach the rear window regulator to the closeout panel, and then release the window regulator mechanism from the closeout panel dowels.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • 2 in extension

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
