    Torque Specifications

    Reuse

    Remove

    1. Open all doors and fully lower all windows.
    2. Remove the 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
    3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace)
    4. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
    5. Remove the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
    6. Remove the RH 2nd row seat back / seat frame assembly. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
    7. Remove the clip that attaches the center buckle connector to the LH lower seat cushion frame.
    8. Remove the center buckle connector from the LH seat frame harness.
    9. Remove the bolt that attaches the center buckle to the LH lower seat cushion frame, and then remove the center buckle from the assembly.
      Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
      • Torx T50 socket

    Install

    1. Position the LH center 2nd row buckle in to the vehicle, and then install the bolt that attaches the buckle to the seat cushion frame.
      40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
      Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
      • Torx T50 socket
    2. Connect the center buckle connector to the LH seat frame harness.
    3. Install the clip that attaches the center buckle connector to the LH lower seat cushion frame.
    4. Install the RH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
    5. Install the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
    6. Install the 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
    7. Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
    8. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace)
    9. Move the front seats to the original positions.
    10. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
    11. In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, type "vcleft rear seat cushion" in the search field, click TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_REAR_SEATSearch for routine in Toolbox2R Connections to VCLEFT, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    12. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle.
    13. Raise all windows and close all doors
