Wade Seal - HV Battery (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

Remove the HV battery wade
seal, using a plastic scraper.

Clean the excess wade seal from the HV battery, using a plastic scraper and
IPA wipes.
NoteAllow 1 minute for the IPA to dry.
Install
- Peel the tape from the beginning of the wade seal.

Apply the first section of the wade seal to the HV battery pack, starting
at the front middle of the pack. Start with an offset from the original path
for the first 50 mm.

Follow the path and apply the wade seal to the HV battery pack.
NoteDo not stretch or pull the seal, and do not cover any holes.

Finish the end of the wade seal next to the starting point. Let both ends
of the wade seal overlap for 50 mm.

Prepare the silicone liquid gasket.
NoteThe opening must be 3 mm wide.

Apply the silicone liquid gasket to both sides of the wade seal, in the
indicated areas: the sharp corners near the ancillary bay and the part where
both ends of the wade seal overlap.
NoteUse the lowest speed setting on the caulking gun.
- Let the silicone liquid gasket dry for 20 minutes.
