Cushion Pan - 2nd Row Seat - LH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH 2nd row seat assembly from the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the push clip from the front of the LH 2nd row seat outer sideshield assembly.
    Tip: Use a pick to remove the push clip from the bottom side of the outboard cover.
  3. Release the clip that attaches the LH 2nd row seat outer sideshield to the seat assembly, disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the sideshield from the seat assembly.

    Note
    Release the outer sideshield assembly by pulling outwards and up at the front portion of the trim, and then releasing the remaining clip.
  4. Release the clips (x3) that attach the LH 2nd row seat inboard outer trim to the seat assembly, and then remove the trim from the seat assembly.
  5. Remove the LH 2nd row seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row Seat - LH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the LH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the center 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – Center/20 (5-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat harness electrical connectors (x7), and then release the clip that attaches the harness to the seat frame.
  9. Release the seat cables (x4) from the LH 2nd row seat EZ entry actuator.
  10. Release the clip that attaches the cable to the LH 2nd row seat fold actuator.
  11. Remove the push clips (x2) from the LH 2nd row seat cushion pan.
  12. Remove the center 2nd row lumbar bun. See Lumbar Bun - 2nd Row - Center/20 (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the center 2nd row seat back pivot clamps. See Pivot Clamps - Seat Back - 2nd Row - Center/20 (Remove and Replace).
  14. Lift the center 2nd row seat back upward to remove it from the seat assembly.
  15. Manually release the center seatback latch.

    Note
    Use a small screwdriver to manipulate the center seatback latch to release it.
  16. Remove the fasteners (x4) that attach the LH 2nd row seat seat pan to the seat frame.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • Torx T25 socket
  17. Remove the LH 2nd row seat headrest trim. See Headrest - 2nd Row - Outer - LH (Remove and Replace).
  18. Remove the LH 2nd row headrest adjustment guide. See Adjustment Guide - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace)
  19. Remove the LH 2nd row seat headrest guide lock. See Guide Lock - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  20. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH 2nd row seat back to the seat assembly, and then lift the seat back to remove it from the assembly.
  21. Lift the rear of the LH 2nd row seat cushion assembly, and then slide the cushion toward the front of the seat to remove it from the seat assembly.
  22. Disconnect the remaining connectors (x4) from the LH 2nd row seat cushion pan.
  23. Release the J-hooks that attach the LH 2nd row seat cushion cover from the cushion pan, and then remove the cover from the cushion pan.
  24. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat fold actuator connector.
  25. Disconnect the actuator switch box connector.
  26. Release the remaining seat harness clips (x4) from the LH 2nd row seat cushion pan.
  27. Remove the bolts that attach the LH 2nd row seat fold actuator to the cushion pan, and then remove the actuator from the cushion pan.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  28. Remove the bolts (x6) that attach LH 2nd row seat actuator switch box to the cushion pan, and then remove the switch box, EZ entry latch, and floor latch actuators from the cushion pan.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the LH 2nd row seat actuator switch box, EZ entry latch, and floor latch actuators to the cushion pan, and then install the bolts (x6) that attach the switch box to the cushion pan.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  2. Position the LH 2nd row seat fold actuator to the cushion pan, and then install the bolts that attach the actuator to the cushion pan.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  3. Secure the seat harness clips (x4) to the LH 2nd row seat cushion pan.
  4. Connect the LH 2nd row seat fold actuator connector.
  5. Connect the actuator switch box connector.
  6. Position the LH 2nd row seat cushion cover onto the cushion pan, and then secure the J-hooks that attach the cover to the cushion pan.
  7. Starting at the rear of the seat, position the LH 2nd row seat pan onto the seat frame.
  8. Install the fasteners (x4) that attach the LH 2nd row seat seat pan to the seat frame.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)

    Note
    The 10 mm bolts are torqued to 6 Nm. The T25 screws are torqued to 1.5 Nm.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • Torx T25 socket
  9. Position the LH 2nd row seat back to the seat assembly, and then install the clips (x4) that attach the seat back to the assembly.

    Note
    Make sure the bottom retainers slide into position.
  10. Install the LH 2nd row seat headrest guide lock. See Guide Lock - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the LH 2nd row headrest adjustment guide. See Adjustment Guide - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace)
  12. Install the LH 2nd row seat headrest trim. See Headrest - 2nd Row - Outer - LH (Remove and Replace).
  13. Install the center 2nd row seat back pivot clamps. See Pivot Clamps - Seat Back - 2nd Row - Center/20 (Remove and Replace).
  14. Install the center 2nd row lumbar bun. See Lumbar Bun - 2nd Row - Center/20 (Remove and Replace).
  15. Position the LH 2nd row seat outer sideshield to the seat assembly, connect the electrical connector, and then secure the clip.

    Note
    Release the outer sideshield assembly by pulling outwards and up at the front portion of the trim, and then releasing the remaining clip.
  16. Install the push clip to the front of the LH 2nd row seat outer sideshield assembly.
    Tip: Use a pick to remove the push clip from the bottom side of the outboard cover.
  17. Install the clips (x3) that attach the LH 2nd row seat inboard outer trim to the LH 2nd row seat.
  18. Install the center 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – Center/20 (5-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  19. Install the LH 2nd row seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row Seat - LH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  20. Install the LH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – LH (Remove and Replace).
  21. Install the LH 2nd row seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
