Check Strap - Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear LH door glass. See Glass - Door - LH - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH rear window motor / regulator assembly. See Window Motor / Regulator Assembly - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear door check strap to the body.
    24 Nm (17.7 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T40 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  4. Remove the nuts that attach the LH rear door check strap to the door assembly, and then remove the check strap from the door assembly.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
