Trim - B-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace)

  • 1133787-00-A Key, Seat Belt Release, Model 3

Remove

  1. Open both LH doors.
  2. Move the LH front seat fully forward.
  3. Insert the seat belt release key (1133787-00-A) into the bottom of the seatbelt pretensioner coupling to release the seatbelt from the pretensioner.
  4. Release the clips that attach the LH upper B-pillar trim to the B-pillar.

    Note
    Release the bottom clips first, and then release the clips at the top of the trim.
  5. Guide the seatbelt retainer through the LH upper B-pillar trim, and then remove the trim from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Guide the seatbelt retainer through the LH upper B-pillar trim, and then align the seat belt slider with the trim.

    Note
    Ensure the seat belt is not twisted.
  2. Insert the top of the LH upper B-pillar trim under the headliner to align the clips, and then press the bottom to fully seat the lower portion of the trim.

    Ensure the seal correctly overlaps the trim.
  3. Install the LH front seatbelt pretensioner coupling onto the LH front seat pretensioner.

    Perform a pull-push-pull test to verify the pretensioner and coupling are fully engaged.
  4. Move the LH front seat to its original position.
  5. Close both LH doors.
