Bracket - Ancillary Connector Dash Mount (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  5. Perform Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure. See Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure.
  6. Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  7. Release the connector locks, and then disconnect both AC compressor HV harness connectors on the HV battery.

    Note
    Pull the red locking tab away from the connector to release it.
  8. Release the HV connector mount bracket from the stud on the LH side of the firewall.
  9. Release the clips that attach the HV connectors from the mount bracket, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the HV connectors onto the mount bracket.
  2. Install the HV connector mount bracket stud onto the LH side of the firewall.
  3. Connect both AC compressor HV harness connectors on the HV battery, and then engage the connector locks.

    Note
    After the connector is seated and there is an audible click, engage the second lock by pressing towards the connector.
  4. Install the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  6. Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  7. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
