Cover - Busbar - Shunt - HV Battery (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Move the vehicle to a 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the RH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect 12V power and perform the vehicle electrical isolation procedure. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  5. Remove the ancillary bay cover. See Cover - Ancillary Bay (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the mid aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Mid (Remove and Replace).
  7. Drain the coolant from the power conversion system. See Ancillary Bay Coolant (Drain and Refill).
  8. Remove the pyrotechnic battery disconnect. See Pyrotechnic Battery Disconnect (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the power conversion system. See Power Conversion System (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the insulator cap from the HV battery shunt busbar nut.
  11. Release the clips (x3) that attach the HV battery shunt busbar cover to the HV battery shunt busbar, and then remove the cover from the busbar.

Install

  1. Install the HV battery shunt busbar cover onto the HV battery shunt busbar, and then fasten the clips (x3) that attach the cover to the busbar.
  2. Install the insulator cap onto the HV battery shunt busbar nut.
  3. Install the power conversion system. See Power Conversion System (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Measure the voltage across the pyrotechnic battery disconnect mount points, and then install the pyrotechnic battery disconnect. See Pyrotechnic Battery Disconnect (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the ancillary bay cover. See Cover - Ancillary Bay (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the LH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the RH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  9. Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  10. Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
