Remove
- Open all doors and fully lower all windows.
- Move the front seats fully forward.
- Open the liftgate.
- Remove the 2nd lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect the connectors (x3) and release clip from the audio amplifier.

Remove the nuts and bolt
that attach the amplifier to the vehicle.NoteDiscard the nyloc nuts after removal.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet
- Lift the amplifier up and away from the body to release the tab, and then remove the amplifier from the vehicle.
Install
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
