Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Release the clips (x4) and tabs (x4) that attach the instrument panel service panel to the vehicle, and then disconnect the temperature sensor connector.
  3. Remove bolts (x2) that attach the cabin temperature sensor to instrument panel service panel, and then remove the sensor from the service panel.
    0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit

Install

  1. Position the cabin temperature sensor to instrument panel service panel, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the sensor to the service panel.
    0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
  2. Position the instrument panel service panel assembly to the instrument panel, connect the temperature sensor connector, and then secure the clips (x4) and tabs (x4) that attach the service panel to the vehicle.
  3. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
