Door Mirror Assembly - LH (Remove and Install)

Note
Newer versions of exterior door mirrors require the firmware version to be 2025.2.3 or later to prevent accelerated wear on the mirror actuator.

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front door panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the LH door mirror electrical connector.
  3. Release the clip that attaches the window electrical harness to the door.
  4. Release the clips that attach the LH door glass run seal to the door, and then remove the seal from the door.

    CAUTION
    To prevent glass run clip damage, gently pry the clips one at a time using a trim removal tool.
  5. Remove the bolt cap, and then remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH door mirror to the door.
    15 Nm (11.1 lbs-ft)

    Use only hand tools to remove or install the fasteners. Do not use impact or power tools.

    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • 4 in extension
  6. Lift up on the LH door mirror assembly to release it from the door.
  7. Push the grommet through the door, and then route the electrical harness through the door as you remove the mirror assembly.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
