Brace - Dash Pencil (Remove and Replace

Remove

  1. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the HEPA filter. See Assembly - Filter - HEPA (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the fresh air intake duct. See Duct - Fresh Intake (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the RH footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the nut that attaches the car computer to the dashboard (torque 15 Nm).
  6. Remove the bolt that attaches the pencil brace to the chassis (torque 10 Nm).

  7. Remove the dash pencil brace from the vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
