Only
technicians who have been trained in High Voltage Awareness and
have completed all required certification courses (if applicable) are permitted to
perform this procedure. Proper personal protective equipment
(PPE) and insulating HV gloves with a minimum rating
of class 0 (1000V) must be worn at all times a high voltage
cable, busbar, or fitting is handled. Refer to Tech Note TN-15-92-003, High Voltage Awareness
Care Points
for additional safety
information.
Remove
- Remove the ancillary bay cover. See Cover - Ancillary Bay (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
- Release the locking tab, and then disconnect the charge inlet connector.
- Release the locking tab, and then disconnect the CPIL connector.
- Release the clips (x3) that attach the HV battery AC filter harness to the ancillary bay.
- Release the locking tab, and then disconnect the HV battery AC filter harness connector.
- Remove the HV battery AC filter harness from the ancillary bay.
Install
- Connect the HV battery AC filter harness connector to the ancillary bay.
- Install the clips (x3) that attach the HV battery AC filter harness to the ancillary bay.
- Connect the CPIL connector.
- Connect the charge inlet connector.
- Install the ancillary bay cover. See Cover - Ancillary Bay (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
