Note
This procedure requires the A/C
Refrigerant (Recovery and Recharge) procedure to be performed. If not already
automatically added to the Service Visit, add correction code 18200102 as a
separate activity to the Service Visit.

the supermanifold to the shock tower brace.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
-
Disconnect the low pressure PT sensor,
and then release the harness from under the shock tower brace and from the holding mount
which is located on top and rear of supermanifold.
NoteUse a flat head screw driver as needed. Wrap electrical tape around the flat head screw driver to avoid damaging the harness.

Loosen the fasteners that secure the
LH shock tower brace.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
-
Remove the bolts that secure the RH
side of the thermal beam.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 15 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Move the RH side of the thermal beam towards the front of the vehicle.
- Move the front of the thermal sub-assembly harness towards the left side of vehicle, route the harness under the compressor and up between the A/C compressor bracket and the coolant bottle, towards the rear of the vehicle.
- Remove the harness clip at the LH bottom of coolant bottle.
- Remove the thermal harness from the vehicle.
Install
- Position thermal harness into position for installation.
- Install the harness clip at the LH bottom of coolant bottle.
- Install the clip that secures the VCFRONT harness to the coolant bottle.
- Engage the locking tab to connect the connector for the Octovalve.
- Connect the battery coolant pump connector.
- Connect the powertrain coolant pump connector.
-
