Seat base edges are sharp and can cause personal injury. Wear cut resistant gloves when removing the seat from the vehicle, and while performing procedures that involve work on or near the seat base.

Remove

  1. Open the RH front door.
  2. Move the RH front seat to its rearmost position.
  3. Disconnect the seat track position sensor electrical connector.

    Note
    The sensor is located on the RH front seat, outboard inner track behind the track motor.
  4. Remove the screw that attaches the seat track position sensor to the seat track assembly.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
