Seat base edges are sharp and can cause personal injury. Wear cut resistant gloves when removing the seat from the vehicle, and while performing procedures that involve work on or near the seat base.

Install

  1. Install a new occupancy sensor onto the new seat cushion foam pad.

    Note
    Remove adhesion protection, and then attach the occupancy sensor between the indication marks on the foam pad.
  2. Route the occupancy sensor connector through the foam pad, and then install the plastic casing onto the connector harness.
  3. Install the seat cushion heater mat onto the seat cushion foam pad.
  4. Install the driver seat cushion trim. See Trim - Cushion - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace)
