Carpet - Front - RH (Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace)

Warning
Seat base edges are
sharp and can cause personal injury. Wear cut resistant gloves when removing the seat
from the vehicle, and while performing procedures that involve work on or near the seat
base.
Remove
- Remove the RH mid A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH center console side panel. See Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
- Move the RH front seat fully forward.

Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that
attach the rear of the 1st row RH seat to the body.
CAUTIONUse only the Torx Plus T45 bit to remove the seat bolts.NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx Plus T45 socket
- 3/8 in std flex head ratchet
- 3/8 in flex head torque wrench (installation only)
- Move the RH front seat fully rearward.

Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that
attach the front of the 1st row RH seat to the body.
CAUTIONUse only the Torx Plus T45 bit to remove the seat bolts.NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx Plus T45 socket
- 3/8 in std flex head ratchet
- 3/8 in flex head torque wrench (installation only)

Position the RH front seat up and
carefully tilt the seat backwards.

Release the clips (x2) that attach the
RH front carpet to the cabin support.

Release the clips (x4) that attach the
RH front carpet underneath the RH front seat.

Release the seat harness clip and
harness, release all edges, and then remove the RH front carpet from the vehicle.
NoteTake note of the short edge under the center console.
Install

Position the RH front carpet into the vehicle, and then secure the seat harness clip
and harness and all edges.
NoteTuck the short edge underneath the center console.

Install the clips (x4) that attach the RH front carpet underneath the RH front
seat.

Install the clips (x2) that attach the RH front carpet to the cabin support.

Carefully position the RH front seat down.

Install the new bolts (x2) that attach
the front of the 1st row RH seat to the body.CAUTIONUse only the Torx Plus T45 bit to install the seat bolts.NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx Plus T45 socket
- 3/8 in std flex head ratchet
- 3/8 in flex head torque wrench (installation only)
- Move the RH front seat fully forward.

Install the new bolts (x2) that attach
the rear of the 1st row RH seat to the body.CAUTIONUse only the Torx Plus T45 bit to install the seat bolts.NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx Plus T45 socket
- 3/8 in std flex head ratchet
- 3/8 in flex head torque wrench (installation only)
- Install the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH center console side panel. See Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH mid A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Move the RH front seat to the original position.
