Remove
- Open the charge port door.

Using a small screwdriver to pry at the hinge cover mounting location,
slightly twist and slide the hinge cover down.

Remove the screws (x2) that
attach the charge port door to the hinge, and then remove the charge port
door from the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit

Adjust the position of the charge port door hinge appropriately as needed,
and then slide up to remove the hinge cover.
Install

Install the hinge cover by sliding it down from the top of the hinge.

Slide the hinge cover down to access the mounting point for the charge port
door.

Lift the locking tab and push the cover further down to uncover the bolt
holes.
NoteUse a hook to hold the hinge if needed. Do not overstress the cover.

Position the charge port
door onto the hinge, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the charge
port door to the hinge.
1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 bit

Slide the hinge cover up towards the charge port door.

Close the charge port
door.
CAUTIONDo not try to manually close the charge port door.
