Duct - HEPA (Remove and Replace)

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the HEPA filter assembly. See Assembly - Filter - HEPA (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolt that attaches the HEPA duct to the strut tower brace, and then remove the duct from the vehicle.

    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench

Install

  1. Position the HEPA duct onto the studs (x2) on the bulkhead.

    CAUTION
    Incorrect installation of the HEPA duct onto the bulkhead can lead to water ingress.
  2. Position the HEPA duct onto the strut tower brace, and then install the bolt that attaches the HEPA duct to the strut tower brace.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
