  1. Verify FW level is 2023.2.11 or newer

  2. Open RH front door
  3. Lower the RH front window.
  4. Remove RH mid A-pillar assembly

  5. Remove clip securing RH lower A-pillar trim

    6x clips, 2 guide tabs, Pull rear of lower A-pillar upward to release clip then pull rearward to release trim panel
  7. Release RH front door seal from body
  8. Remove clip securing RH front cabin carpet to body

  9. Pull RH front cabin carpet away from A-pillar to access RH front seat connector
  10. Move RH front seat forward
  11. Release seat belt retractor from RH front seat

    Insert special removal tool into the bottom of the retractor to release
  12. Open RH rear door
  13. Lower RH rear window
  14. Remove RH front seat rear fasteners

    2x patch bolts, T45P, 33.5 Nm, Discard after removal
  15. Move the RH front seat back.
  16. Remove RH front seat front fasteners

  17. Adjust position of RH front seat for easy removal

    Move seat to middle of track at most upright position
  18. Open the hood.
  19. Remove the rear apron.
  20. Power off the vehicle using the touchscreen.
  21. Disconnect the 12V negative battery cable and First Responder Loop.
  22. Disconnect RH front seat harness from VC right

    1x electrical connector, Release the lock by squeezing the release tab, Then fully disengage the lock by moving it away from the VC right, Do not force the connector, If the connector does not easily release from the VC the lock is still engaged

  28. Release outer side cover clip from seat, but do not remove

  29. Disconnect seat switch connector

    6x clips, Start at the top of the seat and pull the shell away from the frame, When the side clips are free, pull the bottom and carefully roll the bottom tabs out of the slots, If pulled straight out the clips on the seat back can break off

  63. Disconnect the recliner motor

  81. Install the headrest into passenger seat

  82. Flip seat over to gain access to the bottom of the seat

  121. Reseat RH front door seal along lower A-pillar trim
  122. Connect the First Responder Loop and 12V negative battery cable.
  123. Install the rear apron.
  124. Close the hood.
  125. Move RH front seat backward
  126. Install RH front seat front fasteners

  128. Install RH front seat belt retractor to seat

    Insert retractor into seat pre tensioner, Make sure it locks into position with push-pull-push test
  129. Install RH front seat rear fasteners

  130. Raise RH rear window
  131. Close RH rear door
  132. Move the RH front seat to its original position.
  133. Raise the RH front window.
  134. Close the RH front door.
  135. Open the LH front door.
  136. Lower LH front window
  137. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
  138. Select ‘Actions’ and search for ‘OCS’
  139. Select ‘OCS1P delete Sandwich and calibrate routinePROC_OCS1P_SELF-CALIBRATIONGen3/tasks/PROC_OCS1P_SELF-CALIBRATIONLow Voltage Controllers’, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete

  140. Select ‘Actions’ and search for ‘Seat calibration’
  141. Select PROC_VCRIGHT_X_SEAT-TEST-CALIBRATE, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete
