Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the horn assembly from vehicle. See Horn Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove bolt securing the low tone horn to horn assembly bracket.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Install

  1. Install bolt securing the low tone horn to horn assembly bracket.
    9.5 Nm (7.0 lbs-ft)

    Note
    The low tone horn connector should be perpendicular to the bracket frame. Adjust low tone horn angle to avoid touching the high tone horn.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  2. Install the horn assembly to vehicle. See Horn Assembly (Remove and Replace).
