Remove
- Remove the 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
- Perform the charge port voltage check. See Charge Port Voltage Check.
- Remove the LH Lower C-Pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the 2nd row 60 seat
connector.

Release the 2nd row 60 seat connector
from the LH seat frame.
NotePinch the tabs on the clip to avoid damage.

Release the harness guides (x3) from
the body at the LH rear door sill.
-
Remove the bolt that secures the
busbar cover access door.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
-
Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
charge port busbar kit to the HV header.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
-
Lift the busbar kit connector to
remove it from the HV header.
- Remove the HV insulating gloves.
- Remove the rear fascia. See Taillight - LH (Remove and Replace).

Remove the rear body harness from the
rear fascia center bracket (4x clips).

Disconnect rear BLE connector.
NoteDo not push down on the red tab. Pull the red tab to disengage the lock, and then pull again to release the connector.

Disconnect the rear subframe and LH
rear EPB connectors (x2).
-
Push the the rear subframe portion of
the LH body harness through the LH side trunk bulkhead.
NoteHarness passes through into the trunk near the rear section of the LH rear wheel liner area.

Remove the LH rear wheelhouse
insulator from the body.
Install
-
Install the LH rear wheelhouse
insulator to the body.
-
Push the rear harness seal through the
body and fully seat it.
NoteHarness passes through into the trunk near the rear section of the LH rear wheel liner area.

Connect the rear subframe and LH rear
EPB connectors (x2).
-
Connect the rear BLE connector and
engage the locking tab.
-
Install the rear body harness onto the
rear fascia center bracket (4x clips).
- Install the rear fascia. See Taillight - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Inspect and put on the HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves.

Clean the HV connector contact surface
of residual Penetrox.
NoteAllow 1 minute dry time after removing Penetrox. New busbar comes with Penetrox applied to the HV connector.

Position the busbar kit connector and
lower it onto the HV header.
NoteHold the busbar firmly as there is tension on, caution not to damaged the busbar connectors.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
charge port busbar kit to the HV Header.
9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm deep socket

Secure the harness guide (x3) to the
body at the LH rear door sill.
-
Connect the 2nd row LH seat
connector.
-
Secure the 2nd row LH seat connector
to the LH seat frame.
-
Perform Hioki resistance test at each
HV joint from the HV busbar lead to the bolt head.
- If the resistance is greater than 0.195 mΩ (195 μΩ), stop work and escalate the Toolbox session.
- If the resistance is lower than 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), reposition the probes and measure again.
- If the resistance is repeatedly between 0.00 mΩ and 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), hioki test passed, proceed to the next step.

Install the bolt that secures the
busbar cover access door.
9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm deep socket
- Remove the HV insulating gloves.
- Install the LH Lower C-Pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
- Connect the LV battery power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Close the liftgate and the charge port door.
- Move both front seats to original position.
- Raise all windows and close all doors.
