Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace)

Note

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Decor Trim - Front Door - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH front door trim reflector. See Reflector - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH front door armrest service cover. See Cover - Service - Armrest - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the door assembly.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T30 socket
  5. Carefully pry to release the clips (x7) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the door assembly, release the handle cable and disconnect the electrical connector, then set the door panel aside.

    Note
    Replace any clips if broken.
  6. Remove any left over clip retainers from the LH front door assembly.

    The number of retainers will vary with each removal.

Install

  1. Position the LH front door trim panel onto the door assembly, secure the handle cable, connect the electrical connector and engage the connector lock, and then fasten the clips (x7) that attach the panel to the assembly.
  2. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the door assembly.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the LH front door armrest service cover. See Cover - Service - Armrest - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH front door trim reflector. See Reflector - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH front door trim decor. See Decor Trim - Front Door - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_RGBvia Toolbox: (link)
  7. Reinstall the firmware. See Firmware Reinstall - Touchscreen.
  8. Update the firmware. See Firmware Update.
  9. Exit Service Mode or disconnect the laptop if applicable (see 0005 - Service Modes).
  10. Close the LH front door
  11. Check the gap fitment of the LH front door decor to the IP decor.

  12. Open the LH front door, raise the LH front window, and close the LH front door.
