Bracket - Compressor - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace)

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  3. Release the clip that attaches the air lines to the air compressor bracket.
  4. Release the clips (x2) that attach the electrical harness to the air compressor bracket.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (x2) from the air compressor.
  6. Release the clip that attaches the intake valve to the vehicle.
  7. Remove the bolts and spring seats (x3) that attach the air compressor carrier to the compressor bracket.

    CAUTION
    The air compressor will be free hanging after bolts and springs are removed. Support the assembly with hangers or bungee cords.
  8. Remove the bolts that attach the valve block to the air compressor bracket.

    The bolts are located on the underside of the bracket.
  9. Remove the nuts (x3) that attach the air compressor bracket to the vehicle.
  10. Release the clip that attaches the intake hose to the air compressor bracket, and remove the bracket from the vehicle.
  11. Position the clip that attaches the intake hose to the air compressor bracket.
  12. Using new nuts (x3), install the air compressor bracket to the vehicle.

  13. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the valve block to the air compressor bracket.

  14. Install the bolts and spring seats (x3) that attach the compressor carrier to the compressor bracket.

  15. Position the clip that attaches the intake valve to the vehicle.
  16. Connect the electrical harnesses (x2) to the air compressor.
  17. Install the clips (x2) that attach the electrical harness to the air compressor bracket.
  18. Install the clip that attaches the air lines to the air compressor bracket.
  19. Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  20. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
