Bracket - Seatbelt - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all the doors and lower all the windows.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Remove the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  6. Fold the LH 2nd row seat back to the down position.

    Note
    If seat cushion is not present, protect the seat as required.
  7. Remove the LH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Release the clips (x7) that attach the LH upper C-pillar trim to the vehicle, and then move the trim aside.
  10. Remove and discard the upper bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row seat belt retractor to the seat belt bracket.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    • T50 socket
  11. Release the clip from the LH 2nd row seatbelt bracket.
  12. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH curtain airbag to the seat belt bracket.
    9.1 Nm (6.7 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket
  13. Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the LH 2nd row seat belt bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    • 13 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the LH 2nd row seat belt bracket into the vehicle, and then install new bolts (x2) that attach the bracket to the vehicle.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    • 13 mm socket
  2. Install the bolt that attaches the LH curtain airbag to the seat belt bracket.
    9.1 Nm (6.7 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket
  3. Secure the clip to the LH 2nd row seatbelt bracket.
  4. Install a new upper bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row seat belt retractor to the seat belt bracket.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    • T50 socket
  5. Move the LH upper C-pillar trim into position, and then secure the clips (x7) that attach the trim to the pillar.
  6. Install the LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the LH lower C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Fold the LH 2nd row seat back to the up position.
  9. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  12. Close the liftgate.
  13. Move the front seats to the original positions.
  14. Raise all the windows and close all the doors.
