  1. Connect A/C machine to power and switch on

  2. Skip the following panels when prompted

  3. Perform hose flush

  4. Open LH front door
  5. Lower LH front window
  6. Turn Off the AC and Blower motor_x000A_
  7. Place vehicle in service mode with touchscreen

  8. Access thermal system routines using the UI

    Select quick controls > Service mode > Diagnostics > Thermal, Authorize routines by holding right turn signal, depressing brake pedal for 10 seconds with key on phone dock
  9. Select Start button at 'Start Thermal Fill Drain (Refrigerant Only)' using the UI and PROC_VCFRONT_X_START-THERMAL-FILL-DRAIN-REFRIGERANTSearch for routine in ToolboxStart Thermal Fluid Fill/Drain (Refrigerant only)Thermal / Refrigerant System - Start Refrigerant Fill/DrainThermal / Actions - Start Refrigerant Fill/Drain window will appear

  11. Power off vehicle from center display

  12. Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder Loop

  13. Remove caps from low side and high side AC ports

  14. Connect hoses to vehicle and perform A/C recovery

    Connect couplers to vehicle, Note the amount of refrigerant and oil recovered, mark oil drain bottle oil level (use a piece of tape marking the fluid level), Open couplers by turning clockwise, Using Main Menu > Recover > Verify hose connection, Machine will chime once process is complete, Vehicle may be left unattended, Note or print the amount of refrigerant and oil recovered, Refrigerant recovered should be ~2.24 lb (1.02 kg), Oil recovered should be ~0.3 oz (8.87 mL), If drained oil level increased more than 1.01 oz (30 mL) refer to drained oil loss chart https://toolbox.teslamotors.com/articles/353700
  15. Remove AC hoses from vehicle
  16. Remove nut securing supermanifold to compressor suction line to compressor and remove line

  17. Remove nut securing supermanifold to compressor discharge line to compressor and remove line

  18. Remove bolt on supermanifold to compressor AC line from supermanifold

  19. Remove AC manifold line from Supermanifold and remove AC manifold line assembly out of the vehicle
  20. Disconnect high pressure PT sub cool sensor connector

    1x locking electrical connector, Do not push down on Red tab, Pull red tab to disengage lock, Pull again to release connector
  21. Remove high pressure PT sub cool sensor from Supermanifold

    For Sensata sensors use 24mm thin wall, For Bridgeport sensors use 21mm, 9 Nm, Must use special tool, Regular 24mm or 21mm socket will damage connector housing, High pressure PT sub cool sensor connector color is black
  22. Document old and new part numbers and serial numbers

  23. Lubricate high pressure PT sensor threads and O-ring with ND-11 oil
  24. Hand start high pressure PT sub cool sensor until O-ring contacts manifold
  25. Gradually hand tighten the high pressure PT sub cool sensor while slightly backing off to walk the O-ring into the fully seated position

    This will avoid pinching the O-ring on the outside edge of the manifold, which can cause a leak, Takes multiple cycles to properly seat
  26. Torque high pressure PT sub cool sensor

  36. Select "refrigerant charge" on AC machine

    Select the arrows under "refrigerant charge", Enter refrigerant amount of 1.02 kg (1020 g)
  37. Connect First Responder Loop and LV battery connector

    2x connectors Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated
