supermanifold to offboard powertrain pump hose from the powertrain coolant pump, then
immediately plug both fittings.
-
Release the powertrain coolant pump
from the A/C compressor bracket.
-
Remove the powertrain coolant pump from the vehicle.
Install
-
Install the PT coolant pump onto the
A/C compressor bracket.
NoteMake sure the powertrain coolant pump is fully seated.
-
Remove the plugs, immediately connect
the supermanifold to offboard powertrain pump hose to the powertrain coolant pump, then.
fasten the clip.
NotePerform a push-pull-push test on the fittings to make sure that they are secure.
-
Remove the plugs, immediately connect
the powertrain supply hose to the powertrain coolant pump, then fasten the clip.
NotePerform a push-pull-push test on the fittings to make sure that they are secure.
-
Connect the powertrain coolant pump
electrical connector.
- Remove the absorbent material from under the powertrain coolant pump and wipe off any residue.
- Remove the coolant catcher from under the vehicle.
