Seal - Liftgate (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Carefully pull the liftgate seal away from the body to remove it from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the liftgate seal onto the vehicle.

    Note
    Align the front seam located on the liftgate seal onto the top center of the liftgate.
  2. Use a dead blow hammer to carefully install the liftgate seal onto the body.

    Note
    Use IPA wipes to clean and remove remaining residue on the liftgate seal with IPA wipes.
  3. Pull the seal strings to seat the seal.

    Make sure the liftgate seal is properly seated along the interior trim.
  4. Close the liftgate.
