Harness - 2nd Row Seat - RH (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the RH doors and lower the RH windows.
- Move the front passenger seat forward.
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat outer bolster. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).

Fold the RH 2nd row seat back to the
down position.
NoteIf the seat cushion is not present, protect the seat as required.

Disconnect the RH 2nd row seat back
harness electrical connector.

Release the clip that attaches the RH
2nd row seat back harness to the pivot bracket.
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – RH (Remove and Replace).

Release the clips (x2) that attach the
RH 2nd row back side cover to the seat back assembly, and then remove the cover from the
assembly.

Remove the clip that attaches the RH
2nd row shoulder plastic trim to the latch assembly.
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).

Lift the RH 2nd row headrest LH guide
lock locking tab, and then slide the guide lock out of the seat frame assembly. Repeat
this step for the RH 2nd row headrest RH guide lock.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
RH 2nd row backrest cushion to the back frame.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Fold the RH 2nd row seat back to the
vertical position, but do not latch the seat back.

Release the clips (x8), disconnect the
backrest harness electrical connector, and then remove the RH 2nd row backrest cushion
from the vehicle.
NoteRelease the upper clips first to disconnect backrest the connector.

Remove the clips (x3) that attach the
RH 2nd row shoulder trim to the back frame.

Release the clips (x6) that attach the
RH 2nd row seat shoulder trim to the seat back assembly, disconnect the electrical
connector, and then remove the shoulder trim from the assembly.

Disconnect the RH 2nd row seat latch
electrical connector.

Release the clips (x4) that attach the
RH 2nd row seat harness to the seat back assembly, and then remove the harness from the
assembly.
Install

Position the RH 2nd row seat back
harness onto the RH 2nd row seat back assembly, and then install the clips (x4) that
attach the harness to the seat back.

Connect the RH 2nd row seat latch electrical connector.

Position the RH 2nd row seat shoulder trim onto the RH 2nd row seat back assembly,
connect the electrical connector, and then fasten the clips (x6) that attach the
shoulder trim to the seat back.
NoteAlign the fold switch with the frame gap to avoid damage.

Install the clips (x3) that attach the RH 2nd row shoulder trim to the back
frame.

Position the RH 2nd row backrest cushion onto the RH 2nd row backrest, connect the
backrest harness electrical connector, and then secure the clips (x8) that attach the
cushion to the backrest.
NoteSecure the lower clips first, then connect backrest harness.NoteEnsure all clips are properly seated.
- Fold the RH 2nd row seat back to the down position.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row backrest cushion to the back
frame.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Slide the RH 2nd row headrest LH guide lock into RH 2nd row backrest frame to install
it into the back rest. Repeat this step for the RH 2nd row headrest RH guide lock.
NoteEnsure the headrest guide locking tabs are fully engage.NoteThe headrest guide lock with the adjustment button is installed inboard.
- Install the RH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).

Install the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row shoulder trim to the latch
assembly.

Position the RH 2nd row back side cover onto the seat back assembly, and then secure
the clips (x2) that attach the cover to the assembly.
- Install the RH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – RH (Remove and Replace).

Install the clip that attaches the RH
2nd row seat back harness to the pivot bracket.

Connect the RH 2nd row seat back
harness electrical connector.
- Fold the RH 2nd row seat to the up position.
- Install the RH 2nd row seat side bolster. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Move the front passenger seat to its original position.
- Raise RH windows and close the RH doors.
