Hose - HV Battery to 3 Way Valve (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  3. Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the front skidplate. See Skidplate - Front (Remove and Replace).
  5. Position a coolant drain container under the front of the vehicle.
  6. Release the clip, disconnect the 3 way valve to HV battery hose from the HV battery, then immediately plug both fittings.
  7. Release the clip, disconnect the 3 way valve to HV battery hose from the 3 way valve, then immediately plug both fittings.
  8. Remove the 3 way valve to HV battery hose.

Install

  1. Remove the plugs, immediately connect the 3 way valve to HV battery hose to the 3 way valve, then fasten the clip.

    Note
    Perform a push-pull-push test on the fittings to make sure that they are secure.
  2. Remove the plugs, immediately connect the 3 way valve to HV battery hose to the HV battery, then fasten the clip.

  3. Clean the area and wipe off any residue.
  4. Remove the coolant drain container from underneath the vehicle.
  5. Install the front skidplate. See Skidplate - Front (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  7. Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  8. Perform the cooling system (partial refill and bleed) procedure. See Cooling System (Partial Refill and Bleed).
  9. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
