Inductive Charger - Center Console (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.

Release the clips (x4) that attach the
phone dock to the center console.
NotePull up at the bottom of the phone dock and swing out from under the center console.

Release the clip, then disconnect the
electrical connectors (x3), and then remove the phone dock from the instrument
panel.
CAUTIONRelease the connector locks before pulling straight out of each socket to avoid damage.

Remove the screws (x3) that attach the
inductive charger to the phone dock.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit

Release the tabs (x2) at the top of
the phone dock, and then remove the inductive charger from the phone dock.
NoteAngle the inductive charger up and slide out of the phone dock.
Install

Fasten the tabs (x2) that attach the
inductive charger into the phone dock.
NoteSlide the inductive charger datums into the phone dock, and then fully engage the tabs at the top of the phone dock.

Install the screws (x3) that attach
the inductive charger to the phone dock.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit

Secure the clip that attaches the
phone dock electrical harness, and then connect the electrical connectors (x3).

Fasten the tabs (x4) that attach the
phone dock to the center console.
NoteSlide the datums forward into the center console, and then secure the tabs down.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).

In Toolbox, select Actions/Autodiag, and then
search for Redeploy.

In Toolbox, select SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY, click
Run, and then
allow the routine to complete.
NoteSelect ‘X’ at top right of window to close once complete.NoteRoutine will state pass but update will continue to run in the background. Allow the update to complete and do not power down the vehicle. There will be no UI message to indicate update has completed.
- Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
