Buckle - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all the doors and lower the LH front window.
  2. Move the front seats forward.
  3. Remove LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  5. Disconnect the LH 2nd row buckle electrical connector.
  6. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row buckle to the vehicle.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  7. Release the locating tab, and then remove LH 2nd row buckle from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the LH 2nd row buckle into the vehicle, and then secure the locating tab.
  2. Install a new bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row buckle to the vehicle.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  3. Connect the LH 2nd row buckle electrical connector.
  4. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Move the front seats to the original positions.
  7. Raise the LH front window and close all the doors.
