Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Remove the instrument panel sub-assembly. See Harness - Sub-Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the driver instrument panel duct. See Duct - Instrument Panel - Driver (Remove and Replace).

Remove the screws (x2) that attach the
LH panel actuator to the HVAC assembly.2.3 Nm (1.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 bit

Disconnect the LH panel actuator
electrical connector, and then remove the actuator from the assembly.
NoteTake note of the position of the keyed actuator arm.
Install
- Position the LH panel actuator onto the HVAC assembly, and then connect the electrical connector.

Install the LH panel actuator onto the
HVAC assembly, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the actuator to the
assembly.2.3 Nm (1.7 lbs-ft)NoteMake sure the keyed socket angle is properly aligned to the actuator before installing the screws.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 bit
- Install the driver instrument panel duct. See Duct - Instrument Panel - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Install the instrument panel sub-assembly. See Harness - Sub-Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
