Sensor - Air Temperature - Duct - Front Passenger (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the RH front door.
- Lower the RH front window.
- Move the RH front seat rearwards.
- Remove the RH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- On the vehicle touchscreen, touch to open the glove box.
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the center console phone dock. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the instrument panel service panel. See Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the touchscreen. See Touchscreen (HW3) (Remove and Replace).

Release the tabs (x4) that attach the instrument panel closeout panel to the instrument panel, and then remove the closeout panel from the vehicle.
- Remove the RH instrument panel middle trim. See Trim - Middle - Instrument Panel - RH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the front passenger knee airbag. See Knee Airbag - Front Passenger (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the glove box. See Glove Box (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the front passenger duct air temperature sensor connector.
CAUTIONCarefully release the connector. Do not damage components.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pick Miniature Soft Grip, 90 degree tip, 6 in

Release the front passenger duct air temperature sensor from the front passenger duct, and then remove the sensor from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Clip pry tool
Install

Position the front passenger duct air temperature sensor on the vehicle, and then install the sensor on the front passenger duct.
NoteEnsure the sensor is fully seated into the duct.

Connect the front passenger duct air temperature sensor connector.
- Install the glove box. See Glove Box (Remove and Replace).
- Install the front passenger knee airbag. See Knee Airbag - Front Passenger (Remove and Replace).
- Install the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH instrument panel middle trim. See Trim - Middle - Instrument Panel - RH (Remove and Replace).

Position the instrument panel closeout panel on the vehicle, and then install the tabs (x4) that attach the closeout panel to the instrument panel.
- Install the touchscreen. See Touchscreen (HW3) (Remove and Replace).
- Install the instrument panel service panel. See Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Install the center console phone dock. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the RH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the RH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Move the RH front seat to original position.
- Raise the RH front window.
- Close the RH front door.
