Door Assembly - Charge Port (NA) (Remove and Replace).
- 2023-07-05: Cleaned up procedure.
Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Open the charge port door through the vehicle touchscreen.
- Open the hood.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
charge port door to the charge port assembly.
2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)NoteThe bolts are different lengths. Note the location of each bolt for installation.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T10 bit
Install

Install the screws (x2) that attach
the charge port door to the charge port assembly.
2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)NoteTighten the long bolt first to allow easy adjustment of the second bolt.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T10 bit
- Reconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Close the hood.
- Close the charge port through the vehicle touchscreen.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
