Actuator - Intake (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Remove the instrument panel sub-assembly. See Harness - Sub-Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).

Remove the screws (x2) that attach the
intake actuator to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 bit

Cut and discard the zip tie that
attaches the intake actuator to the HVAC harness, disconnect the actuator electrical
connector, and then remove the actuator from the vehicle.
NoteThe HVAC harness is secured to the actuator leg without a screw.
Install

Connect the intake actuator electrical
connector, secure the harness to the actuator leg, route the harness on top of the
actuator, and then secure the actuator to the harness with a zip tie.
NoteRemove excess zip tie after tightening.

Position the intake actuator onto the
HVAC assembly, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the actuator to the
assembly.NoteThe actuator is keyed to the HVAC assembly. Make sure the actuator is properly aligned before installing the screws.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 bit
- Install the instrument panel sub-assembly. See Harness - Sub-Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
