  1. Remove the supermanifold to compressor A/C line. See A/C Line - Supermanifold to Compressor (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the high pressure PT sensor connector.

  3. Disconnect the electronic expansion recirculating valve locking electrical connector.

  4. Disconnect the electronic expansion valve liquid cooled condenser locking connector.

  5. Disconnect the liquid cooled condenser shut off valve connector.

  6. Disconnect the RH electronic expansion valve cabin condenser connector.

  7. Disconnect the high pressure PT sub cool sensor connector.

  8. Disconnect the LH electronic expansion valve cabin condenser connector.

  9. Disconnect the electronic expansion valve chiller connector.

  10. Disconnect the electronic expansion valve evap connector.

  11. Position the thermal sub harness assembly away from the supermanifold.
  12. Remove the bolt that attaches the liquid cooled condenser shut off valve coil to the shut off valve.

    Slide the coil off of the shut off valve.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Mini Ratchet Bit Set
  13. Remove the liquid cooled condenser shut off valve from the supermanifold, and then remove the valve from the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 3 in extension
    • 3/8 in to 1/2 in adapter
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • HVAC Socket Kit - 1588741-00-A
    • Mini Ratchet Bit Set

Install

  1. Position the liquid cooled condenser shut off valve on the vehicle, and then install the valve on the supermanifold.
    19 Nm (14.0 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Use ND-11 Oil to lubricate the valve threads and O-rings prior to installation. Fully thread the valve in the supermanifold by hand first, and then torque to specification.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 3 in extension
    • 3/8 in to 1/2 in adapter
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • HVAC Socket Kit - 1588741-00-A
    • Mini Ratchet Bit Set
  2. Position the liquid cooled condenser shut off valve coil on the shut off valve, and then install the bolt that attaches the coil to the valve.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    Properly align the liquid cooled condenser shut off valve coil tab with the shut off valve.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Mini Ratchet Bit Set
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  3. Connect the electronic expansion valve evap connector.

  4. Connect the electronic expansion valve chiller connector.

  5. Connect the LH electronic expansion valve cabin condenser connector.
