Side Repeater - Front - LH (HW3) (Remove and Replace)

procedure.
Remove
Apply tape to the LH fender at the
edges of the side repeater.
Remove the LH repeater from the
vehicle.
CAUTION
If reinstalling the same side repeater, take care not to damage the
mounting tabs.
Apply light, constant pressure toward the fender at the rear of the repeater, and
maintain pressure until the repeater is removed.
Slide the repeater toward the rear of the vehicle until the front clip releases,
then pull the repeater away from the fender until the front clip is outside of the
fender.
Slide the repeater toward the front of the vehicle until the rear hook clip
disengages from the fender.
Disconnect the electrical connectors
to the LH side repeater and camera.
Install
Connect the electrical connectors to
the LH side repeater and camera.
Carefully install the LH repeater to
the fender.
CAUTION
If reinstalling the same side repeater, make sure the mounting tabs
are not damaged. If any of the tabs are damaged, replace the repeater.
Insert the rear hook clip to the
repeater slot in the fender and apply light constant pressure at the rear of the
repeater, and maintain pressure until the repeater is installed.
Slide the repeater rearward until
the rear hook clip engages the fender and the front clip clears the edge of the
repeater slot in the fender.
Press on the front of the repeater
until the front clip is inside of the repeater slot. Slide the repeater toward the
front of the vehicle until the front clip engages the fender, and then release
pressure on the repeater.
